PIERO Mingoia scored both goals as Accrington Stanley secured victory at home to Cambridge United in League Two.
Mingoia opened the scoring in the 34th minute when his volley from a John O'Sullivan cross found the net.
The midfielder then made it 2-0 with 18 minutes left as his deflected effort beat keeper Chris Dunn.
Cambridge pulled a goal back through Michael Nelson in the 90th minute but Stanley moved up to 12th in the table with victory.
